USCS 276 Applied Anthropology
USCS 276 Applied Anthropology 3
The aim of the course provides a framework for studying and understanding cultural diversity from an anthropological lens. This class will cover broad anthropological definitions and concepts, including a brief history of anthropology, and an introduction to several of the sub-disciplines of anthropology. That framework will then be used to specifically discuss Native American cultures and how anthropology is used to study the past and present.
